Looks like someone wasn't happy with the FULL SIZE M&Ms packs I was giving out for Halloween so they decided to hit my car with a baseball bat!Anyway I got a nice dent on my right fender. I was thinking I would take the fender off and bang it back out as much as possible. Other than removing allt he bolts holding it on, anything special I should be aware of to remove the fender?

Let me just say it is a royal PITA! You have to remove the wheel liner to get to most of them. Some are from the inside of the door jam, and 1, the PITA, is facing the wrong side from the inside of the fender. It is a light metal so lightly beating them out should work pretty well. Good luck!BTW, you may also have to loosen/remove the front bumper too, as 1 of them is under the bumper near the headlight. 1 is also under the front of the side skirt if I remember right.

Well that sucks. I think I've got all the tools I need. Sounds like I will just need time. Guess I'll have to wait until the weekend when I've got plenty of light. The thing that sucks the most is that the dent is near the top of the fender and caused a crack in the paint about 3 inches long. I'm still figuring out the best route to get it fixed. I know I'm not going to turn it into car insurance because I've got a $500 deductible.
