I switched to Mac also, but this is a little rediculous

Post by MACMANIAC »

After being drug almost literally kicking and screaming over to Mac I will flat out tell you it is a better system. But this guy is a little scary in his avid Mac fandom.http://securityawareness.blogs....html

I had a lady leave my store (Gamestop) chanting "long live the mac"over and over again, because I told her that we no longer sold mac software because there was no demand for it what so ever. I sat on some copies of mac software for more then 5 years...

I've never used a MAC either, (maybe its a ken-a-jun thing? j/k)All the software I use at work is PC based, so I'm stuck there, the CAD I use runs on Windows, not Mac.oh well.

lol,god i love how they make apple to be some crazy (removed) brain washing company, yet they are just a minority in the computer world, that innovate. The reason for the price is that they are prolly the highest quality computer maker and best customer support (consumer reports rates them as #1 in repair and #1 or #1 in support). BECAUSE its all in house. You pay what you get for, and when you go buy a 400 dell and it breaks...theres a reason. windows has so many errors because it has to support so many different things and it gets confused and lost :/ and i would say the human nature to click things that say free....

I just ordered a Mini and should have it this week. I also got an older PowerMac G4 from work that I'm rehabilitating (or at least attempting to, with help from millster). I was never anti-Mac, really never was exposed to anything but Windows since I've been into computers (not counting my Commodore 64 and 128 ). I like what I've seen so far though, pretty intuitive.

I used to be a rabid mac fan back in the Quadra / PowerPC 60x days... then when jumped ship in the OS9 days - too many reasons. Going to school for MCSE was a big reason But Also needed cheaper hardware so I didn't have go broke getting a modern computer. Now that OSX is here and linux based - and they'll be switching over to faster Intel platform, I'll be switching back. I'm tired of Windows... now I'm in training with my CCNA then on to CCIE-V so I can get away from admin'ing windoze.
