More new toys in the mail!!!!!JP Headers (thanks to ultraviolet!)Hella Horns (thanks to Mike aka Ragingfish!)And a B&M Auto Tranny Cooler (ebay)More to install! I'll get around to it sooner or later. I also took some pics of a run I did with the G Tech Pro SS. I have no idea if this is calibrated right (as I reset it after receiving it from Brian ). Numbers seem low, but it isn't designed to give a dyno reading, but a more realistic reading. Maybe Brian can let me know what is readings were like since I can't view them anymore! BTW, sorry for the lousy quality!0-60mphHPTorque

Wow, look at all the nice toys. The G Tech is pretty cool. I had one in the vibe a couple years ago from member cohocarl. Once you get it set up correctly it works very well. Good luck with your installs.

Nice Toys! The G-Tech worked fine for me after I calibrated it. If I remember correctly the HP and Torque numbers were close to stock for me (123 hp & 115 tq) and that was before most of my performance mods. I did everything the book said to do to set it up and that is what I got. I'm assuming you did the correct rmp and weight calibrations?

I'm really curious about this: What kind of discrepancy (if any) do you see between the RPMs shown on the in-dash tach and the G-meter?I've been thinking that the standard tach is off some (sloping too low past 3K)

It appears to be pretty accurate based on the settings I have now, but you can get it to read all kinds of FU'ed readings if you play with the settings. It gives you like 32 options and based on which you choose it will change the reading on the G Tech. You could be running at 2k and it could be showing 6k!

As for the cooler, I'm almost positive there is a step-by-step how-to on MO with pics and everything. Definitely need to get on the mods, I know there have to be plenty out there for the Subies!

The tranny cooler I got on ebay for about $60 total shipped. Came in a couple of days too! I will try to take pics, but as with the SC, I was helping last time and probably will be again this time, so I'll try to get as many pics as I can!

They had a GB for it a while back both on here and MO. You can still get them from JP but not with the GB discount. Same with the mid-pipe they offer.

Looking at the box, you can use the gtech thingy as a shift light fer your automatic.

How much is the power gain suppose to be on a SC Vibe with the header installed? I must have missed the last post about it.

I must have missed the last post about it.Actually, I'm not sure what the real gains are from a header, but generally on most vehicles headers yeild pretty good gains. We'll see if I can get it dyno'ed once everything is done, but I recall SoCalVibe with all his stuff pulling 166hp I think.
