Yeah I need this info. becuase I have the same issue with screw length.I HATE when people fight. People fighting is the reason why we cannot hang out downtown after the car shows anymore, people fighting is also a reason why we cannot hang out at Wild Woody's for the car show later than 8pm...The thing is, the people fighting at these events are kids my age!ANYWAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tecton, did you get your caps painted yet? Mine are still that ugly blue color (that smell like blueberries) (removed)...smell the holes.I want to know how much it costs to get them painted. Since they are not big I may just run up to Maaco (sp?).
yeah i got them on they are paintedscrews about a half inch longer than the stock ones work btw, be careful when you drill your holes though, i had to go sideways quite a bit to get the holes to line up...as for price of painti paid 130$which....i dunno, i was expecting to pay morelooking back at all the trouble ive had with these things, and even now painted i already chipped, cracked, and scuffed the paint (note, when you get something back from paint, WAX IT, paint to paint contact isnt a smooth operation)but they are onalso, im going to use like a putty/clay to stuff down into my holes 2 one keep the screw from rusting and 2 just to fill in the holes make it smoothit will be gray so i could leave it as is, or spray/touch it up to match...also looking back, these things suck are ugly and i only put them on cause ive spent so much time and money getting them here
ty about the wheelsthe tires are 235/40/18, which with the 2 inch springs, its getting a little tight under there....i did a circle when i put them on and didnt hear any rubbing, but i have yet to drive it much let alone hard....but on the bright side i definately dont have any wheel gap anymoreQuote, originally posted by Merzbow » Did that include all the prepping or just the painting?yeah i handed them to the guy all blue and everything and had them back a week later
