Another impatient roof rack removal ;)

Post by Merzbow »

Like the last few people that posted I too could NOT wait for the caps to come in. I wanted to see it in person. Last sunday my friend and I pulled them off. Here are some pics. Excuse the daylight pics. I washed, waxed, then washed the car again yeterday for 3 and a half hours and it rained this morning so my time was ALMOST wasted lol.I can't wait to get the springs and hood...that will really make it look sharp I think.

Am I the only one who thinks the Vibe looks like a scared dog tucking its tail between its legs without the rack? That's not saying it looks bad, just kind of... odd.

(removed) Millster. It does doesn't it? In person it looks different trust me.As far as the minivan comment is concerned, yea you're right lol it does kinda. Still looks better in person. Just wait til the hood and springs get on and it wont look ANYTHING like a van anymore only a couple more months.Did you notice in the second pic the leaves are finally starting to sprout on the trees!!!!!!!!!

(removed)! unfortunately you don't use the racks on cars so I still have atleast one option unless I get a truck

(removed) that's a wonderful idea Joatman!! Unfortunately, I broke all three clips on the left rail before I figured out how they actually come off. The right rail ils perfect though. Also if ou remember, I broke the black end caps when i removed my crossbars too. Eveyrone said even it it felt like it would break, it wouldn't so I pulled as hard as I could and the clips broke lol. One of the reasons I took the rails off is because one of the end caps blew off the roof in December and I was getting sick of looking at the bare endcap-less roof racks so OFF WITH THEM!BTW, thanks everyone for hte responses! Even if you don't like them, I allways like to see other's opinions.

(removed), from your gay Vibe boyfriend. I made the animal and took it with for some reason and my friend said he saw a sweet Vibe with graphics so I knew it was you. I decided to give you the animal instead of giving it to some random person inside. I tried to find you but didn't want to interrupt.
