Muffler tip help

Post by zabuza »

Hello everyone, I'm new here just bought a 04 vibe basic last thursday and love it. I came accross this on Ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...%3AIT Is this any good. Will this actually fit on my muffler and how does it sound. Sorry if this questions sound stupid but I'm totally new to this kinda stuff.

It's not a bad looking piece, but it's not all that either. I'd either go with the GM part http://www.gmgoodwrench.com go to accessories, then to Pontiac, then to Vibe OR find something local. I'd rather see something like that in person before I bought it, but that's just me. Check your local exhaust shop!!

You would do better to save up your pennies and buy a performance exhaust system. You will get great looks and improved performance. Magnaflow or Borla seem to be the systems of choice. They will run you about $350.00. Try the search function in the top right corner, bold text, there is tons of info available on this site. Oh yes, welcome to Genvibe!

Welcome to Genvibe. And like Sunny said, I would also recommend saving your money and getting an actual exhaust system. I bought my exhaut system for $330 shipped from http://www.performancepeddler.com . So, if you want something that will really make your back end look better and make the car sound better, I would recommend an aftermarket exhaust system.Inder

Well, if you want to, you could get a cold air intake. that would definitely be a cheaper but very nice addition to your performance and it looks good . I bought my intake from this site :http://www.ultrarev.comI don't know anything about bulbs, ragingfish would know a lot about what would be good.Inder
