so I was pulling into the movie theater parking lot, for a late show at 11:30pm. It was raining really bad, so I couldn't see the pot hole that was probably about 4'x2' and about 7 inches deep. This thing was conveniently located right smack in the middle of the entrance to the parking lot.Needless to say, I blew a hole in the sidewall about 3-4 inches long, and probably bent my rim (god I hope not). So lucky for me, (like I said above) it was pouring outside, and it was almost midnight. Not a fun time to get out and change a tire. And on top of things, we (girlfriend and I) missed our movie. She was cool about it all though, she even held the umbrella for me and learned how to change a tire.
I got the tire replaced for free. Dropped off the bad tire/rim on my lunch break. On my way home from work, I had them switch the new tire with my spare, and I was on my way... Good ole tire replacement program.
Yeah. You got lucky man. Knowin my luck, they would be like, yeah, look, your other 3 tires are losing tread too, so, you may want to change those too. But, good thing is that I was taught by my brother about car maintainence, so, I'm fine in that department.Inder
