Right now, I work for a non-profit, social service agency. Which indirectly means, NO MONEY. I will be working for Kings Restaurants. It's a local chain of 37 family restaurants with EXCELLENT food and a desert menu the is the size of my head.

Congrats on the new job! I love my job, however I've been yanked out of the software test world to update documentation for three months and I feel like I'm slowly withering up and dying doing that... its not a challenge whatsoever. I love testing software and can't wait until I get to go back to it. *sigh*

And yes, the ones we have are pretty much a POS too. Congrats, Poopy. Put the smackdown on them there ID 10 T's. As far as slacking goes, ahh, I've been there, hell I still am most of the time. When I see someone who is about to leave and really starts slacking, I tell them "That's alright, you have STD - short timer's disease." And Kari - those Thinkgeek shirts rock... I'm thinking about getting a few. Right now, I proudly sport the badge holder I bought from them that simply says, GEEK.

Yes, they do. I have the "There are 10 types of people in the world. Those who understand binary, and those who don't." shirt and I enjoy wearing it around campus and making people wonder what it means.

I know I'm opening a door here, but, shouldn't that be "There are 1 types of people...". Because 0 = 1 and 1 = 2, 10 = 3, etc. Or maybe I DON'T understand binary.
Well, the first day was pretty sweet. I got a brand spankin new Dell Inspiron Laptop, LOADED to the gills. A company cell phone (both of which are also for personal use) and a sweet office, its probably 30X10 and I share it with one other person. I got to test some new menu items for lunch in the test kitchen and tell them which one was the best. And after all of that the Owner/CEO....Hartley King (who, might I ad, is a hell of a nice guy) let everyone go an hour early for the holiday weekend.

Dude you got a dell... lol Sounds like a pretty sweet gig! I don't even get a cubicle of my own, have to sit where someone else has sat for the last 12 hours, someone else sat there the 12 before that, and so on. It's a friggin' germ farm, man. Congrats, and glad you like it.
