sound dampening materials

Post by hobbiteater »

Has anyone here used any sort of sound dampening material; dynamat, ensolite etc? If so, approximately how much do you think you would need to do the front and rear doors? Any suggestions on which material to use and any other good spots to place it to reduce road and/or engine noise? Thanks

I believe I remember hearing that someone pulled out the seats and carpet and dynamatted the floor. That'll take out the most amount of road noise, I would think.Anything specific though, not sure..
