New stereo system

I purchased the moon and tunes package with my Vibe GT and was very dissapointed. I researched different brands and stores to install the equipment. Now I have a stereo system that is awesome and the installer did an excellent job. I had Duke's Car Stereo on Miller road in Flint do the installation, I would recommend them very highly! They take a lot of pride in their work. Here is the list of my new system.Eclipse 3434 deckJL Audio XR series component set6 1/2 two way JL Audio speakers in rear doorssingle 10 inch JL Audio sub 10w3v2 in a ported boxJL Audio E series 4300 amp powering the door and 1in tweetersJL Audio E series 2150 amp powering the sub with 300wattsDynomatt in all four doors- which also helped reduce road noise!

Wow!!!That's the kind of audio set-up I'd like to have.JL all the way!! You cannot go wrong with JL audio.But just by curiosity, how much did ti cost you to upgrade your audio system.Those parts are the the cheapest on the market.....

It was a lot, well over one thousand dollars, but I plan on keeping the GT for many years so it was well worth it.

Has anyone seen the 2003 Vibe GT on JL Audio's website? Apparently it won the "Superior Sound Quality" award at the 2003 Consumer Electronics Show, using nothing but JL Audio's cheapest equipment. Wow. Check it out - there's a link to it on their main page; it opens a pop-up window with some pictures. Looks very cool. There's no mention of any speakers in the rear doors, though. Strange.

They probably didn't put any in the rear doors.. I think the front door speakers and the tweeters on the dash would be good enough..I like the amp setup tho!

To tell you the truth I don't know where the stuck the dynomatt. I does help a lot with the road noise, it doesn't eliminate it, but it is definitly quieter.
