I'm looking for a Vibe/matrix service manual. Anybody familiar with a company that is producing one? (Vibe GT; moon & tunes, six-disk in-dash changer, security) TRD Exhaust, Injen CAI,

Helm Inc. (http://www.helminc.com/) lists a Service Manual for the 2003 PONTIAC VIBE, but it is currently Out Of Stock. An e-mail from them yielded no firm answer as to when they plan on receiving stock of the Vibe Manual. Haynes (http://www.haynes.com/) does not carry one and said they only consider developing a repair manual if demand is high for the vehicle and they have enough outsider response to do so. I beleive that unless you get a True shop manual from GM or Toyota, you have to wait about 3 years for Haynes or Chilton to put one out. I dont think they start making manuals untill the typical 3 year warranty is out.

I've got a valve cover gasket on order ($41CDN) so I can go in and measure for any possibly req'd shims.The l'il girl turned 105k kms this past weekend, and all it's really cost me is a set of rear rotors and an exhaust gasket/bolts/springs (HOLY NOISE).Cheers, Marc

It is very much worth the download. It's for a 2003, but most of it is still applicable to all Vibes

This used to be my favorite "go to" link for my 03 Vibe repair instructions. Now, the manual has been removed off the site

Are there any manuals with a first generation vibe body diagram? The Matrix version doesn't contain info about the trim that the Vibe has.

Does anybody have an updated link/pdf for a repair manual? The one at madstyle1972.com is now a dead link.

For anyone who downloaded that manual ( I did a few years ago) it is very broken up and difficult to locate the categories BUT it is all there. Might just take some time to find what you're looking for. PM me (provide me a good email address) and I'll email you the document. It's NOT in a PDF format though .............. Tim

Andrew, have you been able to download and view the manual from that link? I've downloaded and extracted it, and its individual pages in apparently random order. each page has its own file.

Idk if this week help any one but I need 2005 vibe work shop I see 03 and 06 but not 05 does 05 run in one of the other years.
Having taillight plate light issues is not the obvious fuse relay connector nor out let so I think it may be the switch or I know it's an open circuit I have to find the exact info I need good ground to circuit diagram idk Chilton Keeps referring to the Haynes Manuel I have no money for so any ideas where a free workshop on 05 is

Are you having problems with just the license plate light, or with that and the tail lights too?

There is a TAIL relay in a fuse block located above the glove compartment. Some here have had that relay either go bad, or just work itself loose. You can probably check if its loose by reaching up and around, but for reference, a picture of what it looks like on top when its been unbolted and hanging down is at download/file.php?id=4970

The three same size are all the same relays, so if you suspect the tail light relay is bad, try swapping it with the 110V inverter one

If that's not it, then check out the attached excerpt from an 03 Toyota Matrix manual, should be the same for your 05 Vibe, maybe that will help troubleshoot
