It's been a while since I posted on here. Last month we took our shop Celica GTS to the track on slicks finally. It has a stock 2zz and a custom turbo system. We run it on 93 octane and a maximum of 16psi on a very careful tune. It has put down a best of 412whp on the dyno and ran 11.98@123mph. Just this past weekend we took our MR2-S to the Battle of the Imports at Route 66 Raceway in Illinois. We've been tinkering with the car all year and it's doing better and better. It's got a built 1zz and custom turbo system. With a tank full of race gas and the very same BFG drag radials that I run on the street the car ran a best of 10.95@130mph. Both cars are full weight and are driven frequently on the street. They're both a blast.http://monkeywrenchracing.com/mwr_shop_cars.htmlJust wanted to let you guys know that we're still working hard on the ZZ engines and it's looking more and more promising.
28psi on the 1ZZ? Dang! You guys just keep on pushing them. Glad to see someone is taking them to their full potential and beyond. Keep up the great work! Got any Video either of them?

Very encouraging… Makes me even less apprehensive about getting a turbo kit for the Vibe. Not that I’d shoot for 12’s, but 13’s would be fun. Hell I was starting to think I should have waited and gotten a Mazdaspeed 3 instead of the Vibe, but this news makes me feel a little better.
