Hello all, I cant seem to find the right information regarding the question I have about putting older vibe wheels on a newer vibe. I have a set of stock 2005 Pontiac vibe GT 17 x 7 rims that id like to put on my 2009 Pontiac Vibe GT for winter. My 2009 Pontiac Vibe GT 2.4L has 18 inch stock alloy rims. who can recommend where to get a set of 4 spacers/adpapters to allow me to mount these rims and tires to my 2009 Pontiac vibe gt with no issues? The 17 inch GT alloys off my 2005 vibe gt have winter tires already mounted and id just like to beable to use them on my 2009 GT so as not to ruin the 18 inch GT rims on my car already. Thanks guys!

2009 and 2010 Vibes with the 2.4 L engine use a different bolt pattern (5x114) than any year Vibe with a 1.8L (5x100). So you need new wheels, as no adapter is going to help you. Camry wheels will fit.

i see adapters made to go between these sizes, why do you say this wont work?

You can use an adapter plate, but then your wheels are going to stick out. That doesn't sound safe to me. Maybe it is, but it's not something I would do.
