Treaded Plastic or rubberized lug nut covers ?

Post by Vinlandr »

Hello,I just swapped the alloy rims for my winter steelies.I don't want to put back the wheel cover as strangely I like it better this way and some mecanic told me its better not to keep them on during winter as they make the steelies rust faster by keeping cumulated snow inside.Problem is now my outer treaded lug nuts are fully exposed to salt and snow and they are hollow; I better like to cover them.Anything exists like screwing plastic lug nut covers or maybe stretching rubber cover ?thank you

Seems like someone took the nuts out of the wheel covers...I might do that too since I dont use the original wheel cover anymore.http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=34787very clever and nice looking
