CVJ joint replacements ?

Post by cptnsolo77 »

Well looks like its time, CV boot tore and vomited all its grease so it wont be long before they start clicking. What are the best replacement brands for CV joints ? Entire axle not just the boots. Thx !

Honestly, anywhere should suffice. Your best bet would be to replace the grease and boots on the OEM axle though.

I will give it a shot. I rotated my tires last weekend and saw grease splattered all over the wheel well. I regreased the transmission of the CV joint side over a year ago. Looks like the other end ( wheel hub side ? ) spilled its guts. I just noticed a whirring sound on smooth roads on sunday that seems to be from that side now ( so thats why im thinking of replacement. I dont know how long I have been driving with no grease LOL....no clicking on turns though.
