Buzz coming from subwoofer enclosure

Post by Cpasley »

2009 Vibe GT with the Monsoon sound system. Recently I been hearing a buzz coming from what seems to be the area in the subwoofer enclosure. It only starts on bumpy roads but sounds electrical, I started doing uber this week to make ends meet and it has been pointed out a couple of times, super embarrassing. Any suggestions or how do I get that panel off so I can investigate further.

Thanks!

The attached images show the removal of both rear lower trim panels, you only need to do the one. My guess is that the speaker is bad and needs to be replaced.

Have you replaced the headunit or other speakers? Could be caused by that too.
