Currently unable to start my car, battery is newish, and is testing fine voltage, battery terminals are connected and testing fine voltage, wiring seems to look fine, and everything in engine fuse box looks fine, so was hoping to get my starter tested, but am unable to get the unit out.
Have removed the 12mm nut holding the wiring on, as well as unplugged the plug. Also removed the 14mm bolt on the passenger side that is visible (image 3), and removed a top bolt that seems to be the correct one (image 1/2), also seem here at https://youtu.be/otuvr8ZRorI?t=35
Some people seem to go at it from the other side, with a socket extension, but I don't see anything and this feels like it should be the right bolt.
Is there something I'm missing? Or any tips to get it unstuck? Have tried trying to wiggle it, tapping it, but careful around the radiator.
2006; original starter; 199K miles
Any questions, let me know.
Thanks
edit:
Answer is really to use more force to pop it loose.
