I've migrated the forum onto a new server; let me know if anything goes weird.

So far so good. Normal speed of uploading & refreshing pages, unlike what some of us experienced the past few months. Thanks for keeping us alive & moving :D

great. i swapped a aws t2 server for a t3a server and replaced apache with nginx. nick pointed out that some redirects are not working correctly, so I'll try and clean those up tonight. i also want to tune nginx a bit so that the PHP processes don't hang around forever, hopefully that'll help free up DB connections in cases where PHPBB behaves badly.

Reporting a post (clicking on the exclamation point button) yields a "500 Internal Server Error"

I found this by accidentally hitting that button instead of the pencil edit post button, when trying to correct a typo, didn't need to report a post

Okay, I think I fixed it without breaking anything else - needed an nginx config change.

I noticed today that http://forums.genvibe.com/files/imported/ is either no longer accessible or that the files that used to live there are now gone.

At some point years ago, a software update relocated uploaded files, breaking the links, but the files still existed, prepended with a long hex prefix and the files were available on line in http://forums.genvibe.com/files/imported/ If you knew the original uploaded file name, you could search that directory and find the file. Three months ago I found there a bunch of pictures of the last production Vibe and posted to the relevant thread with updated pic links, now those links are bad, the pics are gone

Was that due to the September server upgrade?

A long shot, but any chance to get those files back?
