Some Canadian tire stores have the correct size inserts. I believe it's the wide refills.I use different wipers for the winter.

The wipers that came stock with it when I bought it new, I get the refills... but take one into the store with you to compare sizes. There's wide, regular and narrow refills. My winter wipers are the rubber boot kind... can't refill those.

I'm still using the factory wipers, with replacement refills only from Toyota. The fronts are the same as a Matrix, but the rear is 1" shorter.I don't remember the cost on the fronts, but I think the rear was around $6 when I bought it. If our Canadian Tire carries the refills, I've never seen them displayed. Only the narrow ones that are "trim to fit".They're easy to change - only the rubber gets changed. The steel inserts are re-used. Once you do it, you'll find it easy.I've tried different (and some rather expensive) beam type blades in the past, and I never found that any of those would have any advantage over the stock ones. Most didn't last nearly as long, and started chattering much sooner. I know star_deceiver has used the winter boot type blades, but I find they lift off the window too easily at speed with the winds I typically deal with on a daily basis around here. As long as I get any snow off of the wipers before heading out, I've never had any issue with the stock ones. This is my third winter with them so far with no complaints. You could probably get them at a GM dealer too - but I'd expect them to be more costly, and have an inch of dust on them from sitting in the back room for so long.John

It cost 10 bucks for a driver side refill at local Toyota dealer in Sk.
