LSD? Yay or Nay?

Post by dntkllmyVIBE96 »

Hi All!

I was wondering if any of you could confirm for me if the 09-10 Vibe GT's have a LSD, in the transmission (differential, rather) I know the trim of the vehicle does have VSC/traction control, but I wanted to make sure. Any help or information would greatly be appreciated. T.I.A!

None of the 09-10 Vibes had a mechanical LSD.

Toyota made versions of the C60 six speed manual with an LSD, but I don't know if it was ever fitted to a Vibe from the factory. The C60 was only available on the Vibe in 03-05 GT's.

I would say Yay, but that's a very literal interpretation of the thread title, and my opinion dates from personal experience in the early 1970's. Go for it, dude.

Short answer is no limited slip differential in a Vibe.

Yes, it took me awhile to figure out what he was talking about. The English language is hard enough to figure out and communicate with without using just first letter abbreviations. He is going to have to find another car to enjoy his LSD in.
