Cluster swap, need help!

Post by JustVibing »

I just recently came back from a junkyard trip and picked up some roof rails, a cluster from a 02-05(?) and new visors, and plan to swap them into my 07 Vibe. When I removed the cluster from my vibe, there was a second cable that seemed to control the fuel gauge and O/D off light. When I test fitted the junkyard one, everything seemed to work fine, besides the O/D Off light and the fuel gauge stuck at E with the low fuel light on.

Also, passenger side visor doesn't want to fit.

Any suggestions/fixes?

03-04 clusters are interchangeable, but some obvious differences (color primarily)

05-08 are interchangeable.

05-08 will FIT for 03-04, vice versa, but will not work 100%.
