Announcing the OFFICIAL first genvibe couple

Post by AKLGT »

well, being that my time online is nearing an end in just a few short days, i figured it would be a good time to make an official announcement.some of you know and were there to share such a beautiful time and day with us over Labor Day weekend. as you already know, mavrik is here visiting over the holidays. we wanted to wait until we were here together to make this announcement and since i will be permanantly taking my leave from posting dec. 1, this is the best time it seems. so to our good friends (who some already know) and to our new friends here on gvc, we'd like to say thank you. there are many many pics but i do not want to post the links to our album online. so if you would like to see them, you can PM me.

Glad you and mav decided to come out of the closet.Quote, originally posted by trdvibe »since i will be permanantly taking my leave from posting dec. 1, ...Let your marriage be the permanent part, but don't keep saying that you will avoid all of us here forever forward. Save the permanent commitment for things that really matter. Never allow youself to back off of the commitment you two made to each other, but a permanent commitment to never post here again is a trivial thing and should in no way ever be used to keep you from posting here after Dec 1. If you go off making too many permanent commitments, then sooner or later you will find that you break one of them, and once you do that then there's no reason to not break others. So you see, your plan to permanently never post to genvibe after Dec 1 will be bad for your marriage. You would be better off to retract that "permanent" part of "no posts after 12/1" now, before it's too late!

*blinks* Uh...wow. I had to read this post three times to confirm what I was really seeing. And you've kept it a secret for almost three months...and lived apart for those three months...I'm impressed. Congratulations to you both...how cool that some of the GVC members got to take part in it too.

well after an interesting flight back from Alaska which found my car in NO START mode at the hotel... I had to get it boosted and instead of going home as planned went over to the dealership... they put the car on the charger and I drove one of the loaners home, twice cause I had to go back to the dealership to get my keys so I could get into the house. That being said and I very tired, thanks for the congrats everyone and it was really nice a few of you could make it, and keep secrets haha.Ok I'm off to bed.
