Here are some pics of the aftermath: Where's my car? There it is! The driveway. It's nice and mellow outside today though, practically no wind and -2 degrees Celsius. Snow was nice and fluffy, it'll make some snowboarders and skiers happy for sure. How's the weather where you guys are at?

That could probably work, and I bet wood would deaden some of the vibrations better than the plastic mounts I got. Though if you say you want some sound deadener too, that would sound amazing! One thing's for sure, you're way more brave than I am.. I'd be scared to break something just reaching into ...

Re: I'm selling my Saturn to raise $ to finish the vibe (paulclassa)

They're 6.5, the fronts fit perfect when I drilled new holes, the tweeter is mounted deeper inside of it so that it doesn't hit the door panel so I'm not sure if yours would need any modification, but it's worth a try. Mounts are basically plastic rings that go between the speaker and the door, with...

Sounds like one heck of a job! What kind of body work do you have to do on it? Any chance we could see pictures of your progress? As for your 6.5 inch speakers, I put Polk Audio DB651-s shallow mount speakers up front with the brackets Crutchfield supplied, had to drill new holes to mount them (WATC...

Thanks, it was $200 CAD on Crutchfield with the wiring harness, the mounting brackets, and the radio antenna adapter, so I'm guessing somewhere around that for you too, or maybe a bit less. It's a Kenwood DPX-308U.

Ebay bluetooth dongle with cell phone app

I ordered one of those bluetooth dongles that hook up to a car's obd2 port, and lets you see information in real-time, read check engine light codes and such. It syncs to Android phones via an app. It's pretty cool, to say the least, and it looks good. [Picture in signature]I was hesitant to order o...

I have to go with the 05-06 GTO, with the LS2, even though it was a rebadged Holden Monaro. It had somewhat subtle looks, a big engine and a 6-speed manual, not to mention a good-looking (in my opinion, anyway) interior. If I had the money and there was one for sale around here, I would buy it in a ...
