a little grease just to hold the gasket in it's groove goes a long way. It shouldn't mess with the seal either.
there is also a coolant bypass mod to prevent this from ever happening again.

May 16th in Erie, the HCMO meet for matrix/vibe owners. I'm out of work for a bit, so I get one trip a year, and that's to the Genvibe National meet in Pontiac, Illinois. I can set aside like $1000 and make it a sweet trip. Too bad the wifey won't make it this year :(

That is a very nice kit but keep in mind its about $1000-$1500 cheaper to go turbo and that leaves room for more power down the road and turbo is king on the highway , but the sc will have more torque right off idle and be more fun around town Good luck & Happy Thanksgiving King on the highway ...

I use the 170 thermostat only because of the milder climate I'm in. I also use meth injection to help keep things nice and cool.
