Re: So0o i ran something over and messed up the underside....

Looked in the service manual, and the way the engine is set up there's not much that extends down from the engine block into the oil pan area. The only thing that does is the oil pickup tube/strainer. It is towards the backside of the engine, the drain plug side, so a dent on the front side probably...

I tried some googone today and it seemed to work ok, but there was one spot on the looks just a little bit lighter where I used it. Maybe I just need to wash the car. Had some wax on the black door handles too, and the googone worked great there. Next time, as much as I appreciated the extra hands, ...

An oxymoron is a contradiction in terms, stuff like pretty ugly, a little big, kind of mean, jumbo shrimp, etc. Probably find more people who would think that "Stupid H2 owners" is redundant instead of an oxymoron.

I've been lucky with mine, haven't needed to take it back to the dealer once, which is probably what you were hoping for when you bought yours. That $295 ebay one is a "Buy it now" price, so it doesn't matter how long is left in the auction, there can't be any last minute spike in the bidding. It is, however, a reconditioned unit with only a 90 day warranty. I imagine you plan to have your trix longer than that.

Amazing to see the picture of the wrecked vette and then read that the driver fled on foot after the accident. Not very clear on why there was no brake fluid, especially if they had just spent time waxing it up to get it ready to use in their wedding. My priority would have been the brakes.
