Heated Oxygen Sensor

I have an '05 base model Vibe with about 87,000 miles. The only driveability problem I seem to be having is that when I try to accelerate quickly (yes I know this is a bad thing to do and it kills your mpg) the engine hesitates, revs, then drops off, revs, etc until I get up to speed.
