meathead, Glad to hear the damage was minor and that nobody was injured. It sucks to have any type of damage done to your Vibe but it could have been a lot worse. Hopefully this will be the first and last time you have to deal with damage to your ride.

This is a good link to show you what happens as you change the size of your tires. Depending on the new tire you choose, the difference between the outside diameter of your old OEM tire/rim combo and your new tire/rim combo will alter your speedo read out. Nice job, the roof rails look good power coated, I might have to do that also. It gives your Vibe a different look that sets it apart from the other Vibes out there. I bet it will make finding your car in a crowded parking lot easier too.

I have a fair amount of chips/scratches mostly on the nose and the leading edge of the hood but I also have a few on the lower rocker panels. I guess this is average or normal wear since these are areas that flying debris usually hits the car while driving.

Okay, thanks for the advise. I can give it a try and see what they say, but these dealers can give you the run around sometimes. I'm still hoping to hear from someone who might actually work at a Pontiac dealership though, they would probably know the best and quickest way to solve this problem.

I just use a wide, very soft bristle brush and my regular car wash soap. The bristles are about 3 inches long so they get all the way into the honeycombs. It works great and it takes no time at all.
