the mids and highs on them are outstanding, even without an amp. This is a no M&T car.

Alpine SPS-600 installed

My little helper. So pretty.Driver side shot only... let's face it, doors look the same on both sides, lol.Decided to only do the fronts right now, i don't have an amp for these so i'd lose pretty much all my lows.

Re: new HU install (mr. freeze 04)

figured a picture might help out some. You can see the slight damage my basket endured during install... had to bend it at the corners then re-expand it to "original" shape. The basket was a good 1/8" - 1/4" larger than the slot.

Product advice

Looking for a tint-safe window cleaner. Also looking for a method for removing the adhesive that gets left behind from the dealership widow stickers that won't harm said tint.

Re: new HU install (bigdaddyjosh)

Quick update. After watching how the screen moves as it motors down, i'll probably have to take a simpler approach. The distance between the HU and the factory trim piece goes from about 1/4" to under 1/16". P.S. have new door speakers on the way 4 Alpine SPS-600

new HU install

Just installed a Valor DTS-603W HU in my 04 base, and well, let's just say everything doesn't match up real well. I'm a USAF machinist, so i'm going to fab my own trim ring to fill in the gaps, will post pic after i get it programmed and cut out.
