Not bad BUT not the greatest either. The main thing was that you got it fixed and are able to keep this Vibe rolling along. You patronized a retiree (good as I'm right around the corner myself and will be doing occasional side work) and got your Vibe fixed. Thanks for the update ;)

Nice transformation :D I've been lucky to just polish my lenses right on the car with very fine rubbing/polishing compound and had good results (no sanding required yet). I do it every six months to no longer than once a year. Car always sits outside so it's getting maximum abuse & UV light deterior...

I too FINALLY got my first shot on Friday as part of the 60+ group here in Ohio. Pfizer was the brand. Went into work three hours later and had no issues whatsoever. Hopefully in three weeks when I get the second one, I'll have similar experiences.

Rubber refills for our OEM blades are now discontinued :x Original OEM wipers are still available for around $10 US. Drive side = 19184578, Pass side 19184577. All the online GM Parts sites carry them. Rear blade and rubber insert are also discontinued

Wow .... definitely EXTREMELY clean for it's age. If the tranny gives you problems somewhere into the future, it will certainly be worth fixing/replacing it at that time seeing how solid the rest of the car is..

Is it possible that the 1.6kw model is for the first gen GT models due to their higher compression ratios? That would make sense to me seeing how it could possible take a little more force to push the pistons up "that much more" and overcome from a dead stop.

Ok. Just posted in your other thread before reading this. Looks like this poor car was parked near an industrial plant where there's a lot of fallout :o Looks identical to mine AND even the tranny (mine is a manual too). Roof & hood need paint, the rest looks salvageable.
