Replacing interior silver trim?

Does anyone know if there exists replacement trim for all that silver and chome trim inside the Vibe?I've discovered that on bright, sunny days, I can be effectively blinded by reflections off the chrome trim and the brished silver stuff causes quite a bit of glare up off the windshield.Thanks.

Cubby holes

Just an FYI but I checked this past weekend and a 2-liter bottle will comfortably fit in the cubby hole in the rear area (over the wheel well near the rear lights). I will probably keep windshield washer fluid in a couple of 2-liter bottles and store them in those "hidden" areas.Probably h...

Vibe an old person's car?

Recently I've been seeing more older (ok I'll say "mature") people driving the Vibe. Not that it isn't great that everyone is finding and buying the Vibe but now I'm being teased that I'm driving an "old man's" car!

Yes. Eating some ice cream in winter probably would make you feel less cold (outside). Eating it inside where it's 70 degrees probably won't do anything.

Mine is deducted right from my paycheck and I get a discount for doing it that way. It's about $35 every two weeks so that works out to about $455 every 6 months.

When you eat hot soup on a hot day, you are "boosting" your internal temperature. While not really boosting your body temp, you are heating your mouth, esophagus, stomach, etc. giving you a perception of added warmth. Then with this perception of feeling warmer, you don't feel the surroundi...

Re: Thoughts while driving (ShotInTheDark)

Technically, any cold material becomes a heat sink when placed in contact with (or even simply in close proximity to) a warmer material. This means that heat ALWAYS flows from the warmer to the cooler. Thus drinking a cold beverage would, in fact, cool down a body. Now, I have no idea how much you'd...

Vibe more popular in Canada?

I get the impression that the Vibe is much more popular in Canada than it is in the U.S.Just from my own experience, I really don't see too many in the U.S. and until just recently I haven't been seeing TV commercials for them.I remember seeing a few commercials when they first came out but then the...

This has nothing to do with the engine but what's with the Ion's instrument cluster being in the center of the dash instead of in front of the driver?Seems a little unsafe if you ask me. (Or the first car built specifically for the backseat driver...)

Hey there. I'm wondering if anyone actually reads their Vibe manuals when they get their new car. It seems like there are so many questions and problems on these message boards that are, in fact, covered by the manual.
