I've never had any luck linking to google photos, if you figure it out please post how you got it to work. It could be a size issue I think, I'm able to post a pic by downloading it and then resizing to less than 1Mb.

Followup: No sign of oil on the sending unit or filter since tightening the sending unit about 6 weeks ago. Not sure now if I'll even bother replacing it, or just keep the new one on hand as a spare.

I wouldn't bother with the pan and filter at all. Drain 3.5 qts., put 3.5 new back in. Drive a week and do it again.
