I think I will go to a shop. I heard the noise yesterday, but didn't hear it today. It is only 3 miles to work and I also ride a motorcycle on the days it don't rain. The price of gas keeps going up, I will just have to break the bicycle out.

Well, I changed the transmission oil. My manual said to use GM's synthetic manual transmission oil or 75w90 GL5 gear oil. So I bought Red Lines 75w 90 GL5 gear oil. It is synthetic. Hey. Thanks for doing this post. Now I see where the plugs are and what to expect. I kinda got interested where you list 1.9 liters for the capacity and my owners manual says 2 quarts. The conversion I came up with for liters to quarts is 1.9 L = 2.01 quarts. The numbers are very close.

Well, Putting in a new serpentine belt did nothing for the chirping. The old belt did not look bad, but won't hurt to leave the new one in there. Yeah, I was searching the internet and found a few between $250 and $600 depending if it was only a chip or a complete stand alone ecu. Not looking like I will be buying one if there won't be any significant benefit for me.That 72 Duster sounds like a fun project.

That's what I did. I let it charge until the charger said it was charged and switched to trickle charge. Cleaned everything up and it is working fine now. Starting is still not as snappy as when it was new. I probably need to just take the battery out every other month and give it a good charge anyw...

My tires say between 32 and 50 psi on the side. Pontiac says 35 psi for the tires. I run 40 psi, I don't know why I chose that pressure. The Vibe does not weigh that much, so it doesn't need high pressure in the tires to support it.

I have the 09 1.8l manual transmission and I get 32mpg 100% city driving. I don't accelerate hard and I shift at or before 2000 rpm's. Different people with different driving habits will get different fuel economy.I am glad I made the choice for this car. No regrets.

Ok, I was just wondering. Just remember that when you do the next oil change, put in the correct amount of oil, then see where the oil level is on the dip stick. Slightly over the full mark isn't going to hurt.

Their prices are the wholesale prices the dealers pay. Their shipping and handling charges are high though. You will save money on higher priced things, But if all you want is an oil filter, your going to pay $12 for S&H.
