Double check those bottles. A great majority of them only improve octane rating by a .5 or something of that nature. From what I remember back in my boosty days those would boost the octane to about point whatever the bottle said, not a whole point.

The TWM short throw is an excellent piece. It is well worth the money, and the install is not too hard. I highly recommend it. Makes driving the vibe a pleasure. Goes best with the stock knob or a weighted know and some slick fluid as well as bushings...then its just plain sexy.

Re: TWM Short Shift (Mario)

I have that, with the weighted knob, the brass bushings and some really good tranny fluid from Amsoil. It feels slick, responsive, short and just about perfect -- my auto X buddy was freaked how quickly the shifter can move through the gears. My goal was to turn it from an indecisive shifter into a ...

hmmm...

I am wondering if this would work on the 1ZZ-FE, i was planning on getting the GReddy E-Manage any ways so this would be good. I think the main thing stopping this from going on a 1ZZ-FE would be the bolt pattern for the intake manifold. It may even be safer on the 1ZZ-FE due to lower compression, e...

If you had been braking hard and then drove through some water, that would warp the rotors very quickly due to the quick cooling of the rotors and the molecules snapping back together, or so my mechanic told me.

My vibe has about 55,000 miles on it, the belt is ok, put some dressing on it to keep it form slipping and last a little bit longer. I think the whine comes from it being cold and warming up some. Five Speed Tranny Issues

I was wondering what kind of issues there have been with the 2003 Base Vibe and it's five speed? Is there something I should look out for, something that seems to be a factory flaw perhaps? My vibe has always been stubborn about shifting. Sometimes I have to double clutch to get it into gear for thi...
