Re: Vibe AWD or....

I see that Michigan is your territory so you would know used car buying there better than I, but personally I'd be very nervous about buying that old of a car in the snow/salt belt. If sub-$3,000 is your price range, there won't be a lot of great options out there given the ridiculous prices used c...

Re: New member says hi/ Ski rack options

i dont know about skiis, but ive used a few different top mount bike holders, and if installed correctly they will usually hang over the portion of the hatch that needs to pivot to open. however, i found simply installing the holder backwards will usually allow you to create enough clearance to use ...

Re: Rear Parking brake cable

i found these, one for a toyota matrix, and one for a corolla, will they work? im not really concerned about the mounting, i can figure out some way to mount it if the brackets are different but i assume the ends should be the same right? and the same length? https://www.ebay.com/itm/Parking-Brake-C...

Re: snow tires?

Hey man I'm from Michigan. Last year was my first winter with this car. I have a 2004 Vibe GT. Never got stuck but was really hard to get going on slushy roads. I had to baby first gear all the time.. even 1/4 throttle and you spin. The tires are pretty narrow which helps in thick snow. Snow really ...

Re: 2003 Vibe GT ECU

Came in the mail today. Put it in my car and the check engine light finally is off! It's only ever been the codes from the missing sensors on the Smog pump system. But I'm so happy the light is off! Car runs better too, the lift engagement is slightly lower rpm and allows for seamless lift shifting....

No I haven't heard that... But I have been searching for a larger size oil filter to run. Back when I had my 4.3v6 S10 I used a larger oil filter that was offered.

I'll see if the V6 one fits and get back to you here, give me until the next oil change I just did her like a week ago.
