Re: Keyfob retrofit

What I've been thinking, since my wiring skills aren't amazing at the moment, is once I have the means (I'll hopefully be starting a job soon), I'll get the power locks and such put in, maybe power windows but probably not, and then I'll go and get a remote start/keyless system professionally instal...

Name Change Request

Unsure where to put this, so I'll send it here

I'm not particularly happy with the name I chose for myself when I first joined, and I'm hoping someone who's able to take care of this stuff will see this

I'm requesting a username change from 03basevibesalsa to odysseus4

Thanks in advance

Keyfob retrofit

I've already asked on facebook if something like this would be worth it, so I'm going to ask here how hard it would be I did some searching and found someone back in 2014 who was looking to add remote keyless entry to their vibe, but they already had power locks. I don't have power locks, so I belie...

Re: snow tires?

My 03 has had snow tires on it the entire time I've had it, because Calgary (Canada). I'm probably (hopefully) going to get a new set soon-ish since the current ones (Toyos) are 11 years old. They're also 225s instead of 205s, so a bit wider and a bit taller sidewall. I'm planning on getting some Co...

Re: dgekiere 2003 Vibe GT Rally Car

This thread is quite interesting for me, because even though my vibe is my daily at the moment, once I'm able to afford it and have a different vehicle (or maybe another vibe, unlikely but possible), I plan on going into motorsports with my current one. And my intended sport of choice is rallycross....

Re: 03basevibesalsa - 2003 Base Vibe in Salsa Red

Looks pretty good. Usually the red ones by this point in their life are pretty faded and look bad. This one's been taken care of. There are some water marks on the doors below the trim thingy, which I am planning to take care of at some point, as well as some swirl marks on there, but honestly I've...

Re: 03basevibesalsa - 2003 Base Vibe in Salsa Red

Finally been able to get outside and get some pictures of a size that isn't too big for this forum, it has a 4 gig limit or something idk why, but here Also it was taken with my point-and-shoot nikon s31 at a 2 MP size, so excuse the poor quality if that's how it is, but at least it's better than my...

Re: Your Vibe's name

Bit of an update on my vibe's name

Even though I haven't done my actual road test, I had decided on a name before I was initially scheduled to do it (curse this pandemic)

Delilah

Yes, the same as that song, but it doesn't have much to do with that. It just seems like a fitting name for her

Re: 03basevibesalsa - 2003 Base Vibe in Salsa Red

Quick update on my Vibe I was out checking all the lights and such before the drivers test I had scheduled for the next day upon recommendation from my instructor (all are good) and I went to start the car up And guess what? She didn't start She instead made a rapid clicking from the starter, which ...

03basevibesalsa - 2003 Base Vibe in Salsa Red

Had around 139k km on it when I bought it 4 Speed auto, runs great and drives great. No power locks or windows, but I do have power mirrors. Pretty much everything is in re...
