Re: Selling 2008 vibe. What’s a good asking price?

Front end light damage and mileage aside, its clean and in decent shape otherwise, plus its got the moonroof and rear sub so its not a bad car at all.

Ask for $3K and let them work you down, but no reason why you can't get at least $2K out of it...easily.

Steering wheel was crumbling on the top of the rim. I found a few online but seems like anything decent was $150 or above, so I bought one of those re-wrap kits on eBay...not the worse looking thing but took a good 3 hours to get it.

Nice work so far. Too bad the head unit didn't fit within the double-DIN opening, but then your screen diagonal would have been smaller. Thanks man, I appreciate that. I actually don't mind the head unit size. I could have went with the DD unit but I like these "floating" screen types tha...

As of this past weekend, I installed the new head unit, amp, backup cam and added some sound deadener to the rear sub box. Quick update: While at the junk yard, I also pulled the rear hatch/tailgate power actuator. After testing a bunch of wires and trying to follow the spaghetti maze that is the tailgate harness, I figured out which wires I need to tap in to and how. By this time next week I'll have the keyless remote ...

Manual to Power Door Locks Conversion

Whats up my mammals, I bought my 2007 Vibe (base) back in 2019. It was about as base as can be...no power door locks, power windows, cruise control, etc. About a month after I bought the car, I bought all the (OEM) parts for the cruise control and an EASYGUARD cl13-rt0107 power door lock kit. I got ...

Hello folks, My 2007 Vibe started slipping bad and I decided I haven't gotten my hands dirty in a while, so I bought the full clutch kit, a new flywheel and a couple of new axles since at just over 120K miles, NONE of these have ever been replaced. Quick note about the interior bits...LKQ salvage yards where you pull your own parts, they are having a 40% off everything on New Years Day and I see several in SoCal.

Everyone else seem to have addressed your questions/concerns and I'll concur that the build quality is not known to be bad. Also as you have already read, junkyards are your friend for all the interior bits.

Aside from all that, welcome to the board :)

Wheels are pretty limited in 5x100. Most are running 17s. I currently have 17s with 225/45/17 tires on it, and they fill the wheel well nicely when lowered.
