Pontiac G5, not G6 but G5. What do you think??

I was cruising through dealerships today and noticed a cobalt with a pontiac front, looks awsome but to my surprise it is the new G5. It is a cobalt in disguise. I like it. There is some info in it at http://www.pontiac.com/g5/index.jsp. It is the G5 pursuit in canada and it is the G5 here.

i actualy like it. not a big honda fan but this is a great car for the money. and pepy too. I test drove one and it is nice. very good quality. Might get one if it didnt have the whole honda thing going on.

man that sucks about the canadian tint laws. I though virginia was bad. I would say go with 5% if you want. the only windows you cant tint are the windshield and the drivers and passenger front doors. looks to me like it most likley is the switch. I cant see anything else but a relay that might couse this but that isnt realy happening either. So Yes I would try replacing the switch.

you can get a cosmo racing CAI (cold air intake) pretty cheap from cosmoracing.com I love mine. and you can also go for tien springs, they are chap on ebay. nice ride and great drop. perform very well as well.

that is weird. the wipers should nt have anything to do with the defrost. I will look tomorrow and see waht I can dig up on the wiring schematic for the car. I have to replace my 2005 vibes front left wheel bearing so I will have time to do this while i am in the garage tomorrow.

I turned 35850 miles on my vibe and it sounds as though a wheel bearing is going bad. I Had it aligned and tires rotated and still the front left wheel area makes a roaring sound. I was going to get an 05 fusion at my dealer but all theirs were automatic and they are very hard to come by. I wanted fusion so bad and yes they had it in 05 but like I said. Very hard to come by around my area.

i just had my 05 realigned but it wasnt off very far. the shop said the rear cant be adjusted. is this true? never heard of that. but as far as tire wear. my rears have been fine, the front is where the wear was. even wear though, no camber just toe.

have you looked at those filters at advance auto that are orange. I cant quite remember the name of it. had one on my zx2 and loved it. very good quality filter in my opinion.

that is what I thought. good test though. the ingenuity here at genvibe is crazy. Where can you get the hotchkis setup pretty cheap. ust the sway bars. I have tien springs and love them.

true. I like the roominess. vibe isnt as peppy but much more roomy and great on gas. I had so much stuff in my z that it bit on gas mileage. had 138K miles on it when I traded for the vibe and still running strong.

nothing "voids" the warranty unless it is the DIRECT result of a problem. Now if you tinstall an intake and part of it gets sucked into the engine then yes it will but I have never seen a dealer void a warranty for any aftermarket bolt on where I live.

i did my old zx2 myself and it was perfect. but the vibe is another story, this thing doesnt seem to want to take the tint very well. the back hatch window was a pain so I took it in to a shop and let them do it for $125 all around.

did some reserach. so far the only parts that I have found that wont work is the rear bumper. side skirts should go and allt he fromnt should work. The bumper comes up the tailgate a little too far due to different tailight design.

since they are the same platform there should be no difference. I believe you could replace the fenders hood headlights, and front bumper with the matrix with no problems. that would be sweet. maybe if there is a matrix owner willing to let you look at the difference that will help. from what I ahve...
