My '04 just over the 185k mark. With the miles listed with some of you and with maintenance this should last me many more miles.

Well I did indeed bring her home last night. :D I am again a Vibe owner. The pics I viewed online did not do her justice. The car is near pristine in condition. Going to look at an '04 today, wish me luck!! One owner driven by an older couple, looks very well taken care of. To add, no, I don't have a lot of funds available. Plus, I live in the country down a dirt road, so something newer just doesn't make sense. I'm a housewife that doesn't commute, and pre...

I miss my Vibe!!

Long time no see. Hi everyone! Sure miss my '07. Got her in 2014, had her for 3 years before the motor blew. :? Considered hunting down a motor for her, but she was pretty beat up. In those 3 years, that was the only time it left someone stranded. Had about $3k total in her, and she lasted 3 years. ...

Road Trippin' in a Van

Someone suggested I start a thread here about my upcoming travels in a van. For what it's worth, I own an '07 Vibe, love it!!! I'll be hitting all 50 states, 48 of them driven, in remembrance of my late husband who lost his 2 year fight with cancer at age 40. I would consider taking my Viber, but wo...

Wow, sorry I didn't update this. :( Took it in to a brake place, upon driving it the mechanic was pretty sure it was loose bolts catching while braking. My '07 had a crack on the lower left side, out of line of driving sight, and a couple of chips near the top that felt cracked to the touch, and knew they would be splitting soon. Also, the previous owner let the wiper blade on the passenger side go smooth out so there was a half moon streak of etchi...

It got a new windshield yesterday. Included some tint, am very happy but $300 poorer. Today she's going into the local brake place. I thought it was the CV joints, they don't think so, maybe a bolt or calipers, won't be as much as the CV joint replacement, I'm happy.

Shouldn't be too hard to find the problem. Sounds like a sloppy CV joint, loose axle to wheel connection or worn motor mounts.
