headlamps recommendations - 2006 Vibe

Hey all.. tired of polishing my old oem headlamps so I now want to replace them with some new aftermarket ones. Seeking recommendations of where, what brand to get. I see so many on line from different makers. Thanks!

How many 02 sensors in a 2006 Vibe?

I have the P0420 code that I've been running for over a year now on my 2006 Vibe base engine and it runs great only that on morning starts it smells pretty strong but goes away once warmed up. Would this be a problem with the O2 sensor bank 1 (which my O2 sensor is where the problem is) or is it the...

2nd time in less than a year broken spark plug

Back in January 2021, I replaced a spark plug that had the electrode completely broken off and was causing misfire in cyl #2. I replaced it and it ran great once again..OH.. and this is on my 2006 Vibe. Yesterday, 6/16/21, that same cyl #2 spark plug electrode broke off again. WTH? It seems as thoug...

Re: No power to blower motor, no AC no heat

Hmmm.. I don't know, but I ordered a new heater relay (the one above the glove box), installed it, turned on the AC and bam it came on. For kicks I put back the old relay and for the life of me I just don't get it. AC and heat now work even with the old relay. I did verify that it wasn't loose earli...

Re: bad heater relay source of power failure?

pulled the relay and tested it but online sources said reading should be between 50-120 ohms. Anything more or less should be discarded. I got a reading of 166 ohms so safe to assume it's bad?

bad heater relay source of power failure?

Hoping joatmon will see this, but I welcome any responses to my question. Would a bad heater relay (directly above the glove box) be the cause of no power to the 10amp fuse found by the steering column? I have no power (voltage) going to the 10amp fuse, car on or off, nor am I getting any power to t...

Re: No power to blower motor, no AC no heat

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you.. I checked the 40amp fuse and it's good. I'm giving up. Gonna bite the bullet and take it to the shop. ARRGGH...I hate giving away my money when it's probably something so simple that I"m overlooking.

No power to blower motor, no AC no heat

hey guys.... and gals.. So here's my dilemma. I have no AC and no heat coming out of my vents. The blower motor does not turn on. I've changed the AC blower motor resistor and wire harness as both for fried. I removed and checked the blower motor and did a bench test and it turns on just fine. I the...

Re: P0741 Causing Check Engine Light

The dreaded P0741 code. Here's my story. 4 years ago I took my 2006 Vibe to a GM shop (bad decision) and they fixed the problem however it came back after a year. They replaced the trans lock solenoid, new filter and gasket and 4 quarts of ATF fluid. All at a cost of $1,209.96. As I said bad mistake...
