Re: Derf 2005 Moon and Tunes Deluxe

Just throwing this out there, not sure if the wheel well sub woofer that came with my 2009 VIBE GT would fit your car (factory speaker wire harness may not be present in your Vibe) but it is a stealth system and does offer some complimentary bass, you can have it for free if you are around the Akron...

Re: will it fit? Also have a speaker wire question

I found that under seat mounting of amplifiers is more of a hassle than its worth. Pro: uses less space in trunk area and can hide the amplifier from site Cons: Water from wet shoes, snow, salt if you live in ohio like me, and other debris can become a problem from people in the rear seats, not to me...

Re: Excessive Brake Pad/Rotor Failure 2009 Vibe GT FWD

Can confirm that driving the vibe in the "rust belt" has an adverse on the brakes ability to stay clean, especially when dealing with lubricants and wear overall. I frequently check the rotors and brakes with every tire rotation while I am changing the oil, about every 4,000 miles. Just ta...

2009 Vibe GT Steering Issues

Hey guys just wanted to share my experience so far with my VIBE GT 2009. Great car overall, bought it three years ago and love it, drives tight and controlled great zip in city driving and decent mpg. Problems I have just encountered: Was doing some preventative maintenance including new tie rod end...

Re: New to Gen Vibe

I had to buy the black one cause it was soo shiny at the dealer all buffed up, but black and white are the worst at showing road dirt... but you madee a good decision on going for the GT.... I havent gotten into any real modifications yet but if you ever think about a turbo please let me know how it...

Re: Looking to buy 09 GT - Good Deal?

Its a fair deal considering the miles; if everything checks out with the mechanics it could be a very dependable car. It is not a steal though unfortunately. Ask the person selling if he is willing to drop price a bit at least a couple hundred, considering it is a six year old car. The GT is a sweet...

Re: The Official "What's Your Gas Mileage?" Thread

2009 GT Mileage usually runs about 25 for mixed driving and sometimes I get close to 30 mpg but I am a slow poke driver, in winter I get less cause I like to let the car warm up sometimes for five mintues if its cold out :o .... I did hook up an HHO generator which I had mounted behind the mesh gril...

Re: Been a long while since I've shared my GT

Checked out your ride page there Dave. Looks like a newer automotive posting site for all to use. Your Vibe looks real clean and well maintained. What's your mileage up to? I see you're running the original 18" wheels in the winter weather. Hopefully you keep them clean so the salt (depending ...
