Re: How many miles on your Vibes?

Haven't posted in a while. My 2008 has 238,000 miles on it with the original spark plugs, and, well the original everything really except the exhaust manifold... and tires/oil. Only had one transmission fluid drain/fill. Never changed antifreeze. Never changed brake fluid. It's never let me down sin...

2019 Corolla Hatchback Thoughts? Opinions?

People on reddit are singing the praises of the Corolla Hatchback saying it is nothing like the crappy Corolla iM. Has anyone drove one yet? It looks just like an iM and is still missing half the practical features the matrix/vibe had. But since it has a 2.0L w/ CVT vs a 1.8L w/ AT the improved fuel...

The top or bottom heat shield? The bottom one keeps grass from catching on fire under the engine while idling for extended periods of time. It will also keep water from splashing up and hitting the manifold and cracking it (possibly). The top one will keep your firewall and hood from getting super h...

Bought my 2008 at 73,000 miles. Currently at 199,500 miles. I've replaced one exhaust manifold (that wasn't even that loud) and one intake gasket (threw the CEL but still ran great) in all this time of ownership.
