I'm having this same problem. I replaced the fuse, pulled into the garage to check it and it was fine. The next time I went out at night, it was blown again.

Alpine Ipod Install

I did a search, but I haven't heard of anyone installing an Alpine Ipod Interface. I bought a new receiver 9827 and Ipod interface for around $300 (i luv crutchfield). I wanted to know if anyone had installed the Ipod interface, and if so where. The Ipod interface is alot smaller than I imagined. Pro...

04 Vibe 2 months old 2800 miles. It's been in and out of the shop for the last 2 weeks (it's there now). I'm having problems starting the car. Is it bad when you have the roadside assistance and dealership #s in your speed dial? I also have my VIN # memorized now for everytime I call roadside assist...

I just called to see if they were looking at it. He said they can't get it started, and it doesn't appear to be sending a start code, so it's not trying to fire.Update:They think they found the problem. There's a fuse box, and they found some of the fuses in it there were bent and some weren't even ...

Re: Not starting (Mavrik)

Well, just like clockwork, my car wouldn't start again. I was at a gas station and then it wouldn't start. This time it sounded different like it was a fuel problem. I had it towed to the dealership and hopefully they will be able to figure out what the problem is this time.

I went and talked to the service guy. The work invoice didn't have any details on what he was explaining to me. He had 3-4 other vibes in for some sort of problem where they couldn't start. It turns out that a bent oil baffle can prevent vibes from starting. He also said they had released a service ...

DavidPIL That's exactly what is happening to me. I'm just now figuring that out. It happened again at work yesterday. I was trying to leave and the car didn't start (for 3 or 4 times) and went in to get the dealership phone number and when I got back to my car it started.Whatever I was spouting abou...

I think there was no spark. I picked my car up today. They straightened something that gets taken out during an oil change (I forgot what it was called). They said if its bent it would interfere with the car sending/receiving the start signal [to spark the engine].His guess was that it might have be...

I was wondering what exactly the symptoms of the Battery issue is.My vibe is barely two months old and a couple times last week it wouldn't start. It would make the noise its suppose to before it starts, but never actually starts (turnover). I've been stranded 5 times. The circumstances are:I was dr...

Thanks for the replies. I have an 04 Vibe. It cranks but doesn't fire. The radio was on when I turned the car on, but then I shut it off when it doesn't start hoping that would help (it doesn't). I'm picking up my car tomorrow, and I'll just have to wait until the mofo strands me at work again. I'll...

I personally hate the name too. When people ask me why I bought a vibe, I tell them it was a toss up between a hummer and a vibe. The vibe was cheaper. Personally I like cars named after planets/stars. (I drive a neptune).

Power door lock button

Ok, so I'm a noob with my vibe, I admit it. I don't use the power door lock button often, but when I tried to unlock my doors, I thought there was a standard Down=Lock, Up=Unlock. It was backwards. Is my power door lock button reversed, or is this a European model ?It's not specific in the manual, i...

aww crap, they don't have any more rebates on vibes. I just got my blank check in the mail yesterday too (after the dealership closed). I had plans to add a CAI and Exhaust. Well, if I ever get a vibe, at least I'll know where to go for the latest info. http://www.gm.com/automotive/v....html

has anyone done anything with their vanity mirrors? ditto that. one ride on the back and I was hooked. I still have no concept of speed. I'll be going 30mph and it feels like 50mph. 70-80mph on a highway reminds me of mach 1 on my bike.

Re: (debi5475)

I would like to hook my ipod up directly. All you need is an AUX in line. Usually, that would be in vehicles that have a 6-cd changer. There's a discussion about it in the Audio section, but it's about '03 or older vibes, the radios have changed in the later '04 and '05s. Review:http://www.ipodloung...

Re: (debi5475)

I've been looking at buying a Vibe too. I hope to be able to do it by the end of the month. I'm getting a '04. At the end of last month they had $2K off, plus a bonus of an extra $500. I don't think they had the bonus for '05. I think I'll be able to sell my car, and get approved for a loan by the e...
