If it was my car, if the leak source was not easily and immediately found (windshield, sunroof drain), I would insist that the carpet be removed to dry completely (which may not be a bad idea anyways), and the headliner be removed to assist in locating the leak source. Vibe is in full production, there just aren't any dealers that want to stock GTs. It accounts for 2% of Vibe sales. So you may have a long wait to find one. Just factory order a GT the way you want.

Check out the GM site http://www.mygmlink.com . Have read that they send notice of recalls. But not sure if it includes cars in Canada, but check it out and see. Others have posted that they get updates from their insurance companies, but I do not recall which companies and in which country.

The mudflaps to fit a 04 montone are the flaps that have been in use since the 2003 came out and have always been available. The new part number is just for the 2004 two-tone cars with the wider rocker molding.

If you have the warranty booklet that comes with the car, you will be able to read that GM will void the warranty on cars that have been issued a salvage title. Take the offer to buy at invoice and order the car with the equipment and color you want. Your post dosen't indicate an immediate need. Get the safety features, and consider the onstar. With the costs of shipping from the on line sites, it might be just as economical to order them from your dealer. Make sure they order the newly released front flaps to fit the '04s. Enjoy the car.

Got a chance to see the new flaps in the parking lot at my daughters school today.Color match with the lower parts looked good. They overlap the fender and front portion of the rocker panel moldings. Wouldn't call it "flush" fitting, but looks ok and that it was designned for the car it is...

I believe I have read that the 2005 Vibe features "Programable" power door locks. This feature is only availabel with the automatic transmission. I would guess that you still get power door locks with manual transmission, you just do not have the "Programable" functions.
