Re: Typical life of a hydraulic clutch? GT (TrojanGT)

No offense, but after going through 5 clutches, it sounds like it is more of a driver's technique causing the extra wear rather than defective products. My stock original clutch is going on strong at 110k miles. I've ridden with other people who drive manuals and it seems they don't realize they are...

Also check your wheel lug nuts. I've had some loosen before and they created a creaking sound while driving, scary to think. That happened a few years ago. I just happened to notice the same sound again this past weekend. It then occurred to me it might be the lug nuts, so I pulled over to check the...

I'm thinking it might be a mount. Reason being is that it only squeaks when the engine lurches or the example I tested parked in gear without the brakes. Under regular driving, it doesn't make any noise. The noise is also external, it isn't coming from inside the transmission or engine. I'm still lo...

My 2003 Vibe GT with around 89k miles has a squeak coming from the transmission. Definitely do the wheels. Not only will they really change the look, but they also will not hurt the resale value of the car. The wheels can always go back to stock, but getting a car totally repainted will most likely hurt your resale value.
