Re: (Wolfman213)

Sorry on my late reply, got backed up at work! Kitt: I'd recommend the lights in the eBay link I posted. Had both of the LEDs polarity backwards when I installed, but didn't blow anything. I did notice that it was a bit of a tight fit.I think I might go with Wolfman on this one though. Onces the mon...

Quote, originally posted by Serj22 »The problem with an LED as a reverse light (I think) would be getting it to flood the area. There's just a simple reflector on there, it may make a straight light beam rather than a wide beam. The tail lights work ok because they don't actually project light, it ...

Hello all, I bought an 05' Base Vibe October 13, 2010 with 83k miles on the dash. I've owned the car for just over a year now, and I love it! Just recently passed 112k, with virtually no problems. I've only done a few minor mods to the car. Cosmo CAI, LED dome lights, aftermarket stereo, and a 14% t...

Re: Installed CAI - Engine won't start (GDVibes)

Took the car out. Went about 90mi total. Took it down to Myrtle Beach, and stopped at my job (I'm a dishwasher at a buffet).Stopped at one of the bike rallies up there. Turned off/started the car probably about 3 times each. Didn't have any issues. However, on the highway going down there, I was doin...

Re: Installed CAI - Engine won't start (keithvibe)

Ok, so the car is running.I had used one of the clamps from the old airbox as an extra clamp for the rubber connector from pipe to TB. I switched the clamps around. The clamp that came with the pipe tight on the TB, and the old clamp tight on the pipe end.Engine is running great now, gonna go take i...

Re: Installed CAI - Engine won't start (keithvibe)

Just went outside and reconnected the Negative terminal on the battery. The CEL has gone away, but the issue remains.I also took note that with the A/C on full, the RPMs actually steadied somewhat, and the car was willing to idle for a few minutes before stalling again. Before I disconnected the batt...

Installed CAI - Engine won't start

Hello all, I have a Frosty 2005 Vibe Base that I've owned since October 2010.I finally got my cosmo cold air intake in the mail today, was so excited! After I had everything hooked up, I took the car out for a test drive, it rode nice, and the growl was wicked. The ride was a little rough, but I assu...

Re: PCM recall NIGHTMARE (samrmg)

One thing you could do, sam, is to have the dealership just replace the PCM module first. See how it runs, if it's still causing problems/throwing CEL's, then have the oxygen sensor replace.Would sold your fears of them stiffing you, and you'll be able to separately check everything.. Not so sure ab...

The biggest was a dresser that I helped move from Myrtle Beach, SC to Nakina, NC. That's about a 40mi trip, and I live in the center of the trip.. Couple good bridges, few hills, and definitely many curves and turns, stops and goes.. I personally felt that the car drives way better with the weight.T...

Hey all! Been lurking here for a few weeks.. I noticed a similar affect with mine.My PCM module had died about 2 months prior to receiving the recall letter.First to second caused whiplash unless pushed very gently or very hard.Car had stalled out multiple times on the road. Would have cost me too much to replace the PCM. I believe I was quote...
