thank you for replying, i went and did that and it works perfectly!first repair compliment of you and the site..you can get the tape from wall-mart, go to the the hard ware area and find where they have window insulation, its like $2.50 or something, for window insulation, with tape only on one side...

my compartment below the shifter keeps popping out, i looked behind it and i saw some clip. is the clip suppose to attach to it? i attached it and it would not open all the way. i have no clue, i know this was posted long time ago, but i just started here 2 days agothanx ron

I'm new to this forum, and missed how i can fix the compartment below the shifter from poping out, i have to do it since the dealership doesnt know how.

thats the truth about the general motors plasticthon they run every year, i heard in a couple of years gm will be be making everything under the hood plastic....has anyone had the problem with the compartment under the shifter poping out constantly?
