Ports and car parts

I've been trying to get a couple parts for my GT since August. Checking up on them today, I was told that it may take awhile longer especially for the AEM intake. Do you think that the ports being closed on the west coast may have something to do with this? I could see this being an issue for things being imported. Has anyone else had any issues so far?
