Introductions

Post by greybow »

Hey guys. The Vibe Lounge's description said introductions go here so yeah. How's it going everyone :)
I thrilled to join your ranks. I haven't owned a car in over 4 years (dark times, man) but I was able to scrounge up enough to by something reliable and inexpensive.
So I bought an 05 Vibe :D

As much as I'd like to doll her up, keeping her running for the longest time possible is priority #1.
What do you guys reckon is the best thing I can do to ensure that my Vibe will break 200,000 miles and beyond?

WELCOME and CONGRATS on choosing an awesome, versatile, fun car. No one understands hard times more than me; I was without car for 6 months, and am so happy for you.

Welcome to GenVibe. You made a wise choice & investment by getting a Vibe :D Hopefully those "hard times" are a thing of the past and you can enjoy the freedom of the road in your Vibe. You'll easily get 200k+ miles out of this beauty!

Just went to Lowes and got some lumber to build a desk for my sister-in-law.
Put it easily in the back on my car.
And then went to Sam's and filled it with groceries...

Man, do I already love owning a Vibe.

The more I think about the more I realize it's pretty much all the cars/features I like, all rolled into one vehicle.

Welcome & hi from a Vibe driver so new he's at least five days away from picking up his first - an '03 GT on 17"s. Neptune with grey trim. Didn't need the space, nor the constant 21 MPG my '07 Tacoma Prerunner, ahem, achieves.

Welcome to GenVibe! You should start a new thread to properly introduce yourself and your Vibe. Be sure to post some pictures of your "new" Vibe once you pick it up as well ;)!
