A/C air temp question

I have a 2009 GT with the 2.4 and about 72,000 miles. I have recently recharged my a/c system. It was down about 3.5 oz but other than that everything was normal. It works and gets cold but searching the net the typical temp seems to be lower than what I'm getting. I have a meat thermometer in a vent and consistently get about 50 degrees on max fan and recycle. I live in Florida so it's hot out but wanted to know of this is a normal temp to expect if not any suggestions to drop the temp. Thanks!!

I can't find the capacity of the 2009+ 2.4L Vibe\Matrix but it's likely less than the 18oz the 2003 Vibe had.

Did you take it to a shop to have it filled or did you fill it your self with a kit?

Did you also replace your cabin filter? I know that after I had some AC work on my Mazda 3, once I changed the cabin filter (PIA btw) it blew colder air.

You check the AC output by comparing the input temperature and output temperature. If the air going into the system was 70 and the air coming out was 50, you are working correctly.

Edit to add;
Use the recirculate function. If you draw in outside air it will cool it by 20 degrees. Example; 90 degrees outside air will be cooled to 70 degrees. If you recirculate the cabin air it will be cooling air that is already cooler than the outside air. Example; 70 degrees cabin air will be cooled to 50 degrees.

A/C is generally rated in "Degree Days".
If your system, say at home, is rated for "20 Degree Day" then if the temp outside is 100* it can cool the inside down to 80*. Sure you can get a system to cool that down to 70* but the cost is a lot higher for the equipment. It is a balancing act usually driven by your checkbook. Why spend an extra $1000 to get that 70* on just 3 days a year at 100*. Of course there are other factors but I'm talking generally.
