15" wheels on 05 GT?

Can anyone tell me if 195/65/15 tires will fit my 05 Vibe GT? I was very fortunate and my sister provided me with a set of snow tires for free. The tires appear to have 2 to 3 years left on them and I was wondering if I could obtain 15" rims and mount them on my GT this winter. I am concerned because I am not sure if they will fit over the brakes since brakes are larger on a GT than a base. If anyone could provide some insight that would be helpful!

I don't think the brakes on the GT are actually bigger, at least for the first gen. You just get ABS standard and four-wheel-disc over the base with drums in the rear. Thus, 15's will fit, and be the smallest you can go.

I had the same size snow tires on my vibe. I used toyota celica wheels and everything fit great.
